    Doi Angkhang - good all year round esp. Oct-Apr.  Habitats : Montane evergreen forest, coniferous forest, cultivation, limestone outcrop.
    Doi Lang - good all year round esp Nov-Mar.  A part of Doi Phahompok, the second highest mountain of Thailand (2,285 m).  Hill evergreen forest.
    Chiangsaen (Chiangrai) - good in Dec-Mar.  Golden triangle-border of Thailand-Laos-Burma, Maekong river sand banks, fresh water lake, swamps, rice paddies, graxing marsh.

    Doi Inthanon - good all year round.  The highest mountain in Thailand (2565 m).  Habitats : Montane evergreen forest, deciduous forest, coniferous forest, waterfalls.
