PHILIP D. ROUND (Phil) is Nature Trails' ornithological consultant, specialising in birds of Thailand and the indochinese region.  He is the author of many scientific papers and books on Thai birds.  One of the founder members of the Oriental Bird Club, he lives in Thailand with his (Thai) wife and daughter, speaks Thai, and is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biology, Mahidol University in Bangkok.  As well as being a keen birder, with a particular interest in taxing identification and taxonomic problems, he is an enthusiastic bird-bander.  He has compiled Recent Reports, a monthly roundup of bird sightings in Thailand, for the Bird Conservation Society of Thailand bulletin for over 20 years.
KAMOL KOMOLPHALIN (Kamon) is one of the keen bird observers in Thailand as well as the world-class bird artist.  He co-illustrates the Thai field guide and one of the few top birders in Thailand who keen on bird sounds.  He was the President of the Bangkok Bird Club during 1986-1994 (now Bird Conservation Society of Thailand).

Kamol also has his own nature art class and is an inviting lecturer at Chulalongkorn University on the subject of Nature Appreciation and Field Scientific/Artistic Sketching.  He is a consultant and a regular instructor to Dek Rak Pa Group (Children Love Forest) organises the activities for youth and teachers in the northestern provinces for bird and nature education.
RACHEN CHAROENNUGUL (Rachen) is a full time Nature Trails' bird leader lives in Chiangmai.  He has an interest in birding for many years and is one of the founder members of Lanna Bird Club in Chiangmai.  He was the advisor for creating the nature trails at Omkoi and Samuang Wildlife Sanctuary and was the head of the biodiversity team survey at Chiangdao Wildlife Sanctuary organized by Chiangmai University in 1995-1996.
SUKANYA THANOMBUDDHA (End) is a skilled birder.  She has been very active in the Thai birding community for more than ten years and has a Thai "life list" of more than 800 species.  She has been leading birdwatchers in Thailand for several years and is very familiar with the birds and all the birding  destinations in Thailand.
RATTAPON KLAICHID (Tu) started his birdwatching since 1991 and has won the first price of Thailand Bird Race in 2001 and 2004.  He joined in a team of Bird Conservation Society of Thailand (BCST) surveying the bird species in the south and inner gulf of Thailand in recent years. He has worked for the Hornbill Project at Budo Mountain in Narathiwat province on 2002-2003.  Apart from birds, he also has a special interest in mammals. 

Tu is also keen on bird & mammal photography.
PITCHAYA JANHOM (Jan) is a full time birder and animal watcher. She started her birdwatching in 1998 when studied in Environmental Science at Khon Kean University and has participated in the team survey and workshop for Spoon-billed Sandpiper (2006), organized by BirdLife Asia .  She is a volunteer of Bird Conservation Society of Thailand (BCST) and joined a team of Thai Nature Game group.  In 2008 she worked for Tabin Wildlife Reserve, Sabah of Malaysia (Borneo) to survey and photograph birds and animals in Tabin Wildlife Reserve. 

Jan is keen on digiscoping and had won the first prize of Swarovski Digiscoping of the Year in 2007 and
2nd prize in 2008.
